As you head out into the world today, it is my fervent hope that those of you who are able to have remembered to vote. I'm not going to ask who you voted for or when you voted - only whether you have. It's a right and a privilege - it is something which was wanted, something which was fought for, something which was won. It is part of who we are. It is part of every man, woman, child, and differently-gendered person in this country. The ability to make that choice - to aid in the selection of the people who represent our homes, states, and our nation - is not one that we should take for granted. Hi. Well, I know my absenteeism is getting a bit out of hand. It's been nearly a year since the last journal entry I made, and I've finished off at least two sketchbooks in that time. I can't really make a lot of excuses at the moment-- having been up for several hours already, my brain is hitting that point where it's starting to think that breakfast would be a good idea, and the rest of me is not inclined to argue. Frankly, I've still been drawing--quite a bit, actually, though not nearly as much as I used to. I think that I'll probably try to take some time to sit down and scan some things over the weekend, though we'll have to see whet
